Take your party to the next level with the chocolatey sweetness of a snickers bar, the ghoulish green of a peppermint patty, or the candy crush of everyone’s favorite corn treats. snickers-latte-empty-glass

Snickers is one of the world’s most popular candy bars. Its combination of nougat topped with caramel and peanuts, surrounded in milk chocolate makes it incredibly delicious and quite a complicated flavor to replicate. I was skeptical, but this recipe really nails it. Go on, it is so satisfying.

Ingredients

1 oz dark creme de cacao

1/2 oz Irish cream liqueur

1/2 oz Frangelico hazelnut liqueur

1/2 oz light cream

chocolate shavings, to garnish

1 cup ice.

Directions

Fill a chilled old-fashioned glass with rocks. Pour the creme de cacao, Irish cream liqueur and Frangelico liqueur over the ice. Stir, then top with the light cream. Garnish with chocolate shavings.

Candy Corn Martini

Candy-Corn-Martini-6

Candy corn is the iconic candy of fall and Halloween season. No self-respecting Halloween drinks article would make a list without including it. This recipe is a little more complicated that the other two as it requires you to make candy corn infused vodka. But, it finishes with a candy corn martini that brings back memories of childhood with a kick. Result.

Ingredients

(Vodka Infusion)

1/2 cup quality candy corn

1 1/2 cup vodka

(Candy Corn Martinis)

2 oz orange liqueur

1 oz lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

1 large egg white

1 cup ice

candy corn, to garnish

Directions

Begin by infusing the vodka. Combine the candy corn and vodka in an airtight container, like a mason jar. Cover with wax paper, seal and set aside for at least 3 hours. Strain the infused vodka into another container.

To make the martinis, fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add 4 ounces of the candy corn vodka, the orange liqueur, lemon juice and egg white. Shake for at least 30 seconds, (longer than usual because of the egg white). Strain into 2 chilled martini glasses. Garnish with candy corn and enjoy immediately.
